", officer’s bespoke tailor made with original label named in brown ink; late 19th-early 20th century in superb quality heavy wool; 1/4” red stripe, high back waist, tightly tapered ending in leather boot straps which fasten with a flat brass button. Waist about 34”, inseam 33”. $125.00

British Army White Drill, label 1955 dated and marked for ORs and WO1; pleated, 2 on-seam pockets only. Belt loops, side adjuster tabs. Size 14 (5’8”, 32” waist, 31” leg). $45.00

", 1943 “light shade” type, about 31” waist, 33” length, very nice shape, $20.00 US Army Officer’s “Pink” Riding Breeches, ribbed fabric with doubled fabric at seat and inside thighs, 2 slash & 2 flapped rear pockets, all original buttons and original calf lacings intact; 30” waist which could be altered to 32”, inseam 26”. R. Navy, dark blue heavy serge “Class I & III” per label, size 04 (32”-34” waist, 31” leg); pleated, 2 on-seam and 1 rear pockets; label is on left outside buttock. Never worn. $75.00 

British Army Exercise Shorts, dark KD cotton with elastic waist, label faded out, W^D marked and has soldier’s number written across front upper left. Waist will expand to about 33”. $20.00

British Army Riding Breeches, heavy Bedford cord w/ tan moleskin leg reinforcements, present type as worn by Household Cav and King’s Troop RHA, 28” waist, 20-1/2” inseam, Velcro closure on legs, zip fly, $85.00 

", actually per label “ORs’ Service Dress Pantaloons”, as used by despatch riders, etc. 1944 dated, very nice heavyweight khaki serge, tan moleskin thich & seat reinforcements, etc. Size 10 (5’10”, 31” waist). In excellent condition and quite scarce, especially in such nice shape. $125.00

British Aertex Bush Jacket, jungle green, 1953 dated, size 4 (5’6”, 38” chest), FARELF signs and white tape sergeant’s stripes each sleeve; had metal shoulder strap titles at one time which now are gone. Very nice Malaya War period item. $40.00 

British 1950 Ptn Bush Jacket, jungle green Aertex, dated 1961, 4 pockets, self-belt w/ br buckle, size 12 (6’0”, 37” chest, 32” W), unissued, 2 available, each $35.00 

British Mountain Jacket, the rare 1940 pullover pattern copied from the French Chasseurs Alpins parka; unlined olive green heavy denim, hooded, reinforced lower sleeves, with 2 chest pockets and heavy white draw tapes at hood and around bottom; original buttons. About mint, but a few small holes left upper chest—nothing serious. 1941 label, size 3 (roomy!). Virtually never seen in any condition, let alone as fine as this. $400.00 

British WWII Duffel Coat, heavy tan wool with rope & wood toggle “buttons”; 2 large open pockets, hood, 1943 dated. Size 1 (about 39/40S...but owner had quite short arms!). Copies abound, but not often found with wartime military label. $150.00 

Canadian “Extreme Cold Weather” Parka Shell, 1981 dated, OG cotton, 4 pockets, button cuffs, drawstrong waist & skirt, no liner or hood, size 6 (5’11”, 45” chest), $35.00 ", 1974 dated, size 5 (5’11”, 41” chest), $35.00 

Leather Jerkin, Belgian, 1952-dated but looks just like British WWII, brown leather w/ OD wool lining, size 3 (like British), present buttons are too red, so could use replacement, $75.00 

", Canadian-made, by Miller of Montreal, C/arrow marked, 1943-dated, superb dark brown leather w/ very dark brown wool lining, size small, unissued, unusual and never found in such fine condition! $200.00 

", British with August 1939 (!!) label; very clean and supple, all but one of the buttons are original, lining unmothed and clean. Talk about a nice early war date! Size 2. $150.00 

British Police Officer’s Jacket, dark blue wool, 4-pockets, cloth belt, chromed K/C buttons for Kent Constabulary. 1960s vintage, I believe. Excellent, probably unissued. About 40R. $45.00 

British Protective Suit ABCD, full-length heavy white cotton suit with hood, fastening with press studs from neck to crotch; small pocket right chest about right for a radiation dosimeter. Elastic at ankles and wrists, drawstring on hood. Size 1 (5’4”, chest 36”). Different! $25.00 

French Algerian War Para Smock, 1947/53 pattern with lower pockets angled; intact, clean and complete, with one neatly-done repair upper left shoulder blade area. Roomy, but short—nape of neck to skirt 27-1/2”. Replacement zipper. By faint markings this appears to be one which was transferred to the Israeli Army in the post-Algeria period...but the stampings which were usually put on over the left chest pocket are so faint as to be virtually invisible. Getting more and more scarce and hard to find. $175.00

R Arty OR’s Undress Short, ca. 1910, blue wool, w/ red standing collar, piped w/ ¼” yellow cord, yellow cord cuff braid & shoulder straps, K/C br buttons, has bad br collar badges added, about size 38R, excellent, no mothing, $100.00 

R Can Engrs No. 1 Dress, dk blue wool w/ Q/C Staybrite buttons, standing collar, no insignia, 1959 tailor’s label, about 39-40R, $50.00 

R Can Arty Sr NCO/WO No. 1 Dress, 1930s, heavy blue wool, w/ br K/C gun/CANADA buttons, 4 pockets, high collar, 39-40R, unissued, $60.00 

US Navy Officers’ WWII Grey, cotton, all black plastic buttons intact; very clean and nice, about a 40L. No shoulder boards. $65.00 

Canadian Officer’s SD, World War II, austerity pattern, about 36L. CANADA br titles and 2 pips each shoulder strap; RCA collar badges, 4 red service stripes lower right sleeve; named on bespoke tailor label. Has two very fine wire embroidered on melton 2nd Div patches on the sleeves, with the CII device in high relief. $150.00 

", Captain RCA, about 40L. Not the austerity pattern. CANADA br titles and 3 pips each shoulder, melton 3 Div patches on sleeves; RCA twisted red-gold-navy lanyard. Ribbons bar Fr-Germany Star, Defence Medal, CVSM, War Medal. $100.00 

British NCOs SD, 1980 dated label, S/Sgt Q/C rank badges, Staybrite REME buttons, very nice quality khaki hard-finish wool. Size about 41L. $50.00 

Canadian Summer SD, lightweight pale olive wool blend tunic 1952 dated, size 14, about 41L. Has WOI Q/C sleeve badges, metal CANADA titles, gilt RCA collar badges, Staybrite RCA buttons, cloth belt. Ribbon bar CVSM, War Medal, Efficiency Medal, CD. $25.00 

RAF, World War II, rank WOI (Royal arms) both sleeves, “B” half wing over ribbon bar with 39-45 and Aircrew Europe (with rose) Stars, Defence Medal (all dirty but original). Cloth belt, Simpson of Piccadilly label but unnamed. A few small moth holes, and a couple of 1/2” repairable tears on right rear skirt, nevertheless highly displayable. About 38/39R size. $175.00 

", WOI rank with fine example of the scarce Observer half wing. 1945 dated & named label, about 39L. Excellent and well-made tunic. $200.00

RCAF ORs, World War II, heavy serge, size 24 (about a 40/42R). Superb condition, near new; br buttons, Corporal’s stripes; has pair of unsewn CANADA with eagle titles in pocket. $125.00

British 1949 ptn BD Blouse, size 10 (37” chest, 32” waist, for man 5’10”), excellent unissued condtion, 1955 dated, $45.00 

British 1949 ptn BD Trousers, size 5 (5’6”, 32” waist), 1959 dated, $25. 

", but customised for cavalry officer (leather plaited button on thigh pocket, and has turn-ups... these came with other Royal Scots Greys items), size 13 (5’11”, 33” waist), some mothing in crotch area but otherwise good for display and unusual customised in this way. $35.00

RAF 1949 Pattern BD Blouse, pointed pocket flaps, black plastic K/C buttons, 1950 dated, size 7; has pale blue/navy “albatross” badges at the top of each sleeve, Sr. Acftmn rank on each sleeve, and “sparks” badge upper right sleeve. Very nice condition. $45.00 

RCAF Postwar BD Blouse, very high quality blue-grey wool with postwar Canada&albatross badges at the top of each sleeve; 1952 dated, large size 31 (6’1”, 45” chest). Excellent condition. $35.00 

Belgian Army BD Blouse, 1969 dated and about 39/40L size. Nice OD wool with colalr patches of Guides cavalry, rank of Sergt. Major, patch of 16th Armoured Div (in Germany). Excellent. $35.00

Two items from a wartime ATS officer’s kit

Neither of these is specifically ATS, but they did come with her uniform and hat which already have been sold

KD Bush Jacket, Indian-made, 4 pocket with wooden buttons, twin vents; belt closes with end slipped through a loop and buttened down to other end; small—26” nape of neck to skirt bottom, 28” midback to cuff end. Maker mark stamped in neck area. $75.00 

Leather Jerkin, unlined Indian-made version in midweight russet leather, 6 removable medium=-sized brass GS buttons to close; size 1, marked “M.M.R./ Madras”. Rarely found, and this one is in like-new condition. Small—21” across back at armpits, 24-1/2” nape of neck to skirt. $125..00
